Gooding Airport Flyers Association, the IAA - Idaho Aviation Association and the Idaho 99s, held a joint work party at Smith Prairie Airport on May 17-18, 2024.
Aaron Hassemer and his family prepared a hot breakfast for the crews. Dan Conners from the Idaho Division of Aeronautics brought equipment and leveled around the camping area. Volunteers cut weeds, leveled ground squirrel mounds, and cleaned the outhouse and around tie-downs.
The Gooding Flyers came prepared with fence-fixing tools and supplies and repaired the entire perimeter fence around the airport.
