Jerome Farmers Market Harvest Festival was the destination for the October flyin with the Idaho 99s and the Eastern Idaho 99s on October 12, 2024. The air was clear and a crisp--perfect for flying and taking in the last farmers market of the season at Moss Greenhouse in Jerome. The Harry Potter theme brought out kids and adults in costume. There were pumpkins, and apples, crafts, home baked breads and pastries, tamales and sandwiches, and wagon rides with the draft horses.
Eastern Idaho 99s brought two planes, and planes flew from the Boise area, and one couple flew from McCall. Precision Air, the FBO at the Jerome airport (KJER), greeted us, topped off fuel tanks and loaned us a crew car for the drive to the farmers market. The Lincoln Town Car, one of the airport courtesy cars was the other ride to and from the festival.
