The Idaho 99s Women Pilots attended SheTech with a "Careers in Aviation" booth at TechZone on January 30, 2024. It was STEM Explorer Day for high school girls in southern Idaho held at the College of Idaho. Over 400 girls attended and learned about careers in many aspects of STEM from robotics, programming, and AI to opportunities at colleges and universities as well as branches of the military.
Rebecca Bice, Jamie Boesiger, Mollie O'Marah, and Cheryl McCord spent the day talking aviation with the girls and lit a few sparks with the STEM girls from around southern Idaho. They had handout sheets on Aviation Careers and Resources for youth, flight training, and more.
