ACE Academy 2024 sponsored by the Idaho Division of Aeronautics was held June 26-28. The Idaho 99s Women pilots partner with the staff at Aeronautics on the three-day aviation experience for high school students. The students tour various aviation facilities at the Boise airport, hear speakers, and participate in the Fly the Plane workshop presented by the Idaho 99s Women Pilots. On the last day of the camp, volunteer pilots flew the kids into Idaho backcountry airstrips and ended the flights at the Nampa airport for a tour of the Mission Aviation (MAF) facilities.
Idaho 99s participating were Aimee White, Toni McLean, Mollie O'Marah, Piper Hubler, Sharki Kontra, Cheryl McCord, Kathy Hughes, and Jamie Boesiger.
